ISTORIA, A MEMBER OF DESIGN HOTELS

At the sublime junction where the black volcanic sand of Perivolos Beach meets the midnight blue waters of the Aegean Sea, one finds Istoria, a 12-suite retreat, where a unique blend of Cycladic traditional architecture and contemporary aesthetics animates a next-generation social hub, while embracing all the needs of modern and sophisticated travellers, for an experience that is wholly and authentically Greek.

Every corner is imbued with a sense of intimacy, relaxation, and most importantly, comfort, for a prevailing romantic atmosphere. This vision is brought to life by the Athens-based firm Interior Design Laboratorium, who have replicated the experience of a Santorini mansion via a fusion of traditional island architecture and a stripped-down contemporary aesthetic that pervades all areas.

SAGA SUITE:

Saga means “story” (Istoria) in Icelandic. Saga Suites (sleeps 3) of 38-40m² are located on the hotel’s upper floor. Each suite features bedroom with a king-size bed and luxury linens, bathroom with shower Its sitting area is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchair. You may enjoy the partial sea view to Perivolos beach from the terrace that is equipped with double sunbeds and a sitting area. Breakfast in bed is available in all suites.

RECIT SUITE:

Récit means “story” (Istoria) in French. These suites of 35-37m² each are located on the hotel’s ground floor. Entering the suite, the first sight is an impressive hall with water elements inspired by the stables that were housed in the ground floor of the building. Recit Suite’s bedroom features a king-size bed with luxury linens, while its sitting area is equipped with a comfortable sofa and armchair. The bathroom here features a luxurious shower. Each Recit Suite features a terrace with an outdoor hot tub, double sunbeds and sitting area.

TARINA SUITE:

Tarina means “story” (Istoria) in Finnish. These suites (sleeps 3) of 35-37m² each are located on the hotel’s ground floor. Entering the suite, the first sight is an impressive hall with water elements inspired by the stables that were housed in the ground floor of the building. Tarina Suite’s bedroom features a king-size bed with luxury linens, while its sitting area is equipped with a comfortable sofa and armchair. The bathroom here features a luxurious shower. Relax on the spacious terrace with courtyard view that features a private pool, equipped with double sunbeds and sitting area.

RAKONTO SUITE:

Rakonto means “story” (Istoria) in Esperanto. The Rakonto Suite (sleeps3) of 45m² is located on the hotel’s second floor and features an airy bedroom with a king-size bed, luxury linens. A separate living area with a comfortable sofa can accommodate an extra guest. The bathroom features a luxurious shower. Relax in the spacious terrace that features double sunbeds and enjoy the view to Perivolos beach, whilst a second balcony with sitting area, also offers side views to the sea.

CONTE SUITE:

Conte means “story” in Catalan. Conte Suite (sleeps 3) is on 40m². Located on the first floor, it features a king-size bed with luxury linen, and its airy living area is with a comfortable sofa that can accommodate an extra guest. The bathroom is equipped with a luxurious shower. The spacious terrace is over 30m² and features an outdoor hot tub and sunbeds to relax and enjoy the spectacular direct sea view. Suite’s private balcony with sitting area offers side sea view.

STORIA SUITE:

Storia means “story” in Italian. The Storia Suite (sleeps 3) of 50m² is located on the second floor of the hotel. It features a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, luxury linen. Suite’s airy sitting area is with a comfortable sofa that can accommodate an extra guest. The bathroom is equipped with a luxurious shower. Spacious terrace of 45m² with sunbeds offers to relax in the outdoor hot tub enjoying stunning sea views. You can also marvel sea views from the suite’s balcony.
